Attaching the unit to your bike
The GPS unit has an antenna that needs to be exposed to the sky while your are riding your bicycle.
It cannot be inside your bag or backpack. It should also not be on your bicycle where
your body would block its "view" of the sky and the GPS satellites. Therefore, the best locations
are on your handlebars or a rack on the back. If you already have a rack on your bike, that
will probably work, with a bungee cord. If you don't,
we have one holder that can attach to your
handlebars and one rack that attaches to your back seatpost. Both options are shown below.
Note that the unit is also in a zip lock bag to protect it from water and dirt.
If neither of these would work, we also have a couple holders that may attach to the outside
of a bag
or backpack
.
